This project is from our Kelowna chapter in the BC Region. Our client was finding it difficult to safely transfer from his wheelchair into hotel beds when travelling. Our fabulous volunteers fabricated a portable ramp out of lightweight aluminum, which goes underneath the chair, raising it and making transfers safer and more accessible.
