Description: This project is from our Vancouver chapter in the BC Region. Our sister society, The Disabled Independent Gardeners Association (DIGA), needed an automatic watering system for a couple of the raised garden beds at one of our community gardens. Our fantastic volunteers created a dripstyle irrigation system on a timer and connected it to the park's water system using flexible poly tubing. The timer is encased in a locked metal box to ensure it doesn't get stolen. Now, the clients of DIGA don't have to worry about watering their garden beds every day!
