Description: This project is from our Thunder Bay chapter in the Central Region. Our client uses an electric mobility device to get around independently, but the cold weather in Thunder Bay was causing the battery in his scooter to freeze. His wife had been lifting the seat and battery and bringing them in at night during the winters, but that became too difficult as the couple got older. Our incredible Tetra volunteer created a battery warmer by adding heating pads and a thermostat and spent time with the client to explain how it works and when to use it. What better way to show the impact than our client’s words?
