Description: This project is from our London chapter in the Central Region. Our client uses a wheelchair, and they are also blind, needing a cane when going out. They needed to be able to easily remove the cane from the chair and maneuver it back and forth and side-to-side. Inspired by a video our client sent us, our amazing volunteer devised a unique solution. They installed the pivot mechanism under the front part of the armrest so that the cane could be maneuvered comfortably.
