TetraNation

What Is TetraNation?

TetraNation is an annual celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community impact. Each year, Tetra Society volunteers across Canada design and build custom assistive devices that help people with disabilities overcome barriers to independence. These devices range from simple daily-living aids to complex, one-of-a-kind inventions.

In previous years, TetraNation took the form of a national video showcase and contest, where volunteers submitted short clips of their innovative projects for the public to enjoy and vote on. This year, TetraNation has evolved into an annual storytelling and awareness campaign — highlighting how Tetra devices are designed, who they support, and the difference they make in people’s everyday lives.

TetraNation 2025: Creating Gizmos That Change Lives

Every year, Tetra volunteers create hundreds of custom assistive devices. How do they do it? With creativity, teamwork, and your support. This year, TetraNation 2025 takes you behind the scenes to show what goes into a device — the ideas, the materials, the cost, and the impact. You’ll meet volunteers and clients from across Canada and discover how small acts of innovation can transform lives.

Thanks to our community, we raised over $1,700, supporting volunteers as they build adaptive solutions that empower people with disabilities to live more independently.
